A century ago, from Veneto, they have gone hundreds of thousand of people for straight survival reasons. As they are used to do, always on several ways, the immigrant, today. An exodus, that of Venetians, continued since '70 years of '900, depopulating a Region that was sticked such as "the South of the North", and stripping them of their belongings, as its biggest resource: the arms, supported by an extraordinary will to work and by a rooted prevailing sympathy, also in the economic weaving. 'Cause even in Veneto they was born, between '800 and '900, the first catholic and laic "Casse Rurali", the first "Popular Banks", the first white and red leagues, the first cooperatives>: And because the religiousity has contributed in a decisive way to make a social, inspirated at deep values, cohesive weving.
Today, these some basis buildings are drastically put in discussion, 'cause it's all changed with a traumatic speed. Overall, it's exploded the benealth: already at the '80s beginning, the medium income of the Venetian family was minor only to the Lombardic one, and there was an enterprise every 10 inhabitants; the years later, the unemplyment was lower than in USA, while one develops the exportation; the industrial begun to open their factories in the Foreign, to start with Rumanians.
Contamporary, they arrived the first waves of immigrants, that occuped the work seats more thankless, remained still open a little for the strong declining birthrate, a little for the same growing up of the life-tenoor, that carried the Younghs to make longer their studies. And , however, to refuse the heavier works, as those in the Vicentino, tanneries, or in the marble caves in the Veronese.
So, step by step, it's changed the social geography of the Region. The same items that had brought it to success they've begin to run down: in close Countries, as those of East Europe, or very far such those of Far East Asia, it's surfaced a labour able to produce the same things of Veneti, with lower costs, and they have put as crise the very much factories based over the manifacturing.
In the Region, new warehouses, new "Commercial Centers", new roads, have eaten the country doing it less than living as once, as traffic caos, as damaged security. And overall, the registery office has known a silent revolution: today, in Veneto, there are 400.000 regular immigrants of about 170 different ethnic groups, in some places they are already the 20%, 20.000 of them have become good masters, in the schools the foreign children grow up in an exponential way.
It's overall the fast phaenomenium to shoot: in Veneto, the immigrants are, as quantity, twice than once!, from 2001 to today, with great problems of integration, 'cause the life in common goes seeked and very hard realized, day after day, on school desks as in the work, in the hospital wards as inside the condominiums,
The Venetians, very roped to their traditions, must confront their cultures and way of lives radically different; to begin from faith (very much Orthodoxian, many Islamists, but also Buddhists, Hindu, Animists, African and Asian Penecostalists), passing over events more pratic as dressing, eating, the local common uses.
